So when Zsane told me she wanted to take pictures the day before her wedding in order to be more present on the actual day I suggested the New York Public library. The marble arches, stairs and grand doors provide a perfect backdrop for creating classic portraits. Zsane, a second generation dressmaker, designed and sewed her own gown. Inspired by a beautiful headpiece she created the diamond hanging sleeves. These images, more about Zsane and her view on bridal trends can be read in an article on Nubian Bride.

New York City is one of my favorite places. Each neighborhood is so different with plenty of options for portraits.
