I often consider myself an artist and like to think of my work as art. The idea of this shoot was initially inspired by wearing flowers, however Kokie’s favorite color is orange and luckily we had an orange dress that for me complimented so well I can honestly say the picture of her looking out of the window is one of my favorite portraits of all time. It’s sessions like these where I get to play, think, create and learn that will forever be the reason why female portraiture is one of my favorite photographic genres.
